NEW SPRUNG FLOOR THANKS TO CHARITY FUNDRAISER

Tyneside Gymnastics Club is set to benefit from a new sprung floor thanks to a recent charity fundraiser in the City. Tyneside Gymnastics club, based at Double Row Trading Estate in New Hartley, has recently relocated to its own premises having previously hired halls at Queen Alexandra College in North Shields. The new floor was top of the list of purchases to benefit the growing number of local gymnasts attending the club’s classes. Junior Micro Team Qualify for the British Championships!

Tyneside Gymnastics Club's TeamGym Level 2 Micro Juniors have qualified in third place for the British Championships at the Northern Qualifiers at Meadowbank, Scotland. Amy Sykes, 13, Tamsin Hunter, 14, Jessica Lively, 14, Sophie Kenney, 16, and Beth Tait, 16, wowed the judges with a range of skills that no Tyneside Gymnasts have competed before and are proud to say they have even more in the bag for the finals. The British Championships has the best TeamGym teams in the country competing at all levels and will be held on the last week of July at the Liverpool Echo Arena as part of the British Gymnastics Championship series. Hallie makes the North Regional Squad

We are incredibly proud to reveal that our very own Hallie Gray has made it onto the North Regional Gymnastics Squad where only a small group of elite gymnasts are selected from across the region to train and compete throughout the year. Hallie, who is 12, started her gym career at Whitley Bay Gymnastics Club before progressing into the elite team at Tyneside Gymnastics Club at age eight.
