Hallie makes the North Regional Squad

We are incredibly proud to reveal that our very own Hallie Gray has made it onto the North Regional Gymnastics Squad where only a small group of elite gymnasts are selected from across the region to train and compete throughout the year.

Hallie, who is 12, started her gym career at Whitley Bay Gymnastics Club before progressing into the elite team at Tyneside Gymnastics Club at age eight.

Having spent the last four and a half years as part of the Tyneside Gym family, making the Northern Squad has been a super-proud moment for Hallie, head coach Lynsey and mum Helen who says that Hallie's success comes from Hallie 'Having a great training ethos and putting in 110% at all times.'

The first gymnast to be selected for the coveted spot from Tyneside Gym, Hallie has had lots of practice competing at such a high level after both she and team mate Natasha made it through to the national competitions.

Hallie's speciality is the assymetric bars and outside of the gym, she enjoys football, netball, hockey, cricket and athletics.
